if you wanna do some serious n2o look into running a wetshot.

i dont know if anyone on here has killed stock pistons from to much n2o, im not saying its not possible but even tho stock pistons suck they can take some abuse.

i bet as long as everything is tuned properly and up to par the trans will die first

zex dry kit with a 75 shot , autolite copper plugs as others have said. most agree this is the easiest way to go, simple install and instructions. most run zex #82011 I believe.

Stock fuel system is good for a 75-100 shot, put in a 155-190 fuel pump if you want to be safe, could also run 3.2 injectors.

A wet kit most people drill and tap the intake manifold and spray both n2o and fuel directly into the cylinders. You dont want to have it pool in the intake so its best not to run a wet shot before the throttle body.

there is a million and a half threads with all this and MUCH more if you search. GL

the reason why i started asking is because i read 100 shot and no extra stuff.
However, i did have both wet and dry in different cars.
Dry was only 50 shot, but wet was 100. I barely used wet, but when I did, the whole power would cut off at around 5500RPM. When I read all that about injectors and fuel pressure, I figured that my problem was not enough fuel for a 100 shot. But now you guys telling me that you don't need to increase fuel pressure on N2o, or maybe i don't understand something?

As for direct port: I have intake set up for that as well, but have to swap in on to my car, but was waiting on some $ for FPR and bigger injectors.

Out in front!
A DP set up has nothing to do with the existing fuel system if done correctly . A dry kit adds fuel by applying pressure to your regulator raising fuel pressure . Wet is best if done right . DO NOT USE A SINGLE NOZZLE WET KIT.

I have two sets of copper plugs left over from my sh!tstang. (there new) I was looking at just doing a cheap easy dry shot but if I can find a wet kit for not a bad price I'd like to do that insted. I have a 3.2 so will it be ok for fuel besides the pump I'm putting in a 255?

autolite 3923's, I dont think the mustang ones are gonna work. multiple people have said it, you dont need a 255 pump. 155-190gph is fine unless you are running a huge shot, and the 255 pump requires a adj FPR. Go , read , learn.

Ok. I was goin to use this pump becuse it's cheap and It will be getting a turbo, iv gota do it in steps, so I figured I'd go with a big pump now so I wouldn't have to do it later. But thanks everyone for the replies!!!

A wet kit for a SHO is pretty complicated. It has to be a direct port setup, If you use any other setup with a wet kit, it will puddle up in the intake runners and you will destroy the engine. Here is a picture of a direct port wet kit:

DSC01756

This is why people use the Zex Dry kit, As a Direct Port wet kit for these cars can cost nearly 1,000+. The 255 LPH pump will NOT work for your car unless you get a aftermarket Fuel Pressure regulator. Josh @ shonutperformance.com sells them.

If you want to keep it Cheap, Do this:

Zex kit 82011
155 LPH Fuel Pump.
Autolite 3923 Plugs

Run from a 50-100 shot and have fun.
