Just got back a few minutes ago.

ran a 14.2 w/ 2.2 60ft 3 times in a row.

then a 14.1 @ 101 :woo-hoo:

mods are 100shot dry, stock timing, 3.2 w/ 3.2 cams, bbb's, udp's, ported intake, high flow Y, dynomax cat back, ss linears F, eibach R, sensatrac struts, and spring blocks in the back.

Granny shifted the crap out of it. i could def. be in the 13's if i had some spare axles with me. especially with the jose short shifter and solid motor mounts.

That's what I ran N/A. :swing:

I'm just kidding of course. Nice times and 2.2 60' on street tires is damned good. However if I may be honest I would expect the traps to be a little higher. What RPM's were you taking it too?

Edit - 3.0 Cams are you friends. :D

Very nice. +1 on the cams. I know you didn't want to change them out with the swap, but it might be time.

You has a PM.

I can has a PM too?? Puppy

on a more serious note...

I had a similar 1/4 mile issue with my 98 GT. I swapped in PI intake, heads and cams on top of a full bolt on list worth of parts. Took it to the track and I was still loosing to Edge Mustang GTs by 1 tenth of a second and 2-4 mph even though my 60' times were on par with the Mustangs that had similar mods as me. Turned out that I had a sticky caliper. :nut:

question!!

andrew I know ur going for power mostly BUT I am betting that 1st is usless. So did u do any runs on a 65/75 shot?? I am willing to bet that better times would come easier and mostly likely better traps too. I mean 125/150 is great for the highway but IMO don't waste the n20 at the track if ur not using it. Just saying b/c pulling a 13.6-8 pass would be sweet!!!!

Can't wait to see more time slips!!!!

oh im getting traction in 1st. ive got this thing slammed to the ground in the front with spring blocks in the back. honestly i dont want to push the car any harder to get a better time. id rather just upgrade everything else.

very well. had a problem with the cam sensor last week. the car would randomly idle like crap and throw a check engine light. if i left the car running like that it would be gone in like 30 seconds. so i checked the codes and it was the cid. havent had a problem since then.

finally got my exhaust fixed so its quiet now, and im building a set of heads. 3.0 cams with porting, polishing, oversized valves, bronze valve guides, and new seals. still need a tweecer.

plus looking at another raise at work.
