nitrous and water/meth

this just kinda popped up in my head. "why cant i use water meth with my nitrous?" did a little research on the web and behold http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems....r-Methanol-Injection-System/article_info.html
its been done, and with great results!

current set up is 100hp shot with NO fuel mods (yep, 91 + octane booster). ive been through 2 bottles and compression checked after. no apparent damage. still pulls like a ****

so from what im reading the octane boost should be around 110. way higher that what i currently use. Also the methanol will act as added fuel, correct? so in my twisted head im thinking i could run a 120 or even 150 shot safely dry.

or maybe i should stop being a cheap ass and go bigger pump, regulator, and wide band o2. or atleast an o2 before i shoboom?

I would get a wideband gauge first, that way you can step up your jets safely. It would help to data log the AFRs as well.

When I had the nitrous, I planned to step up my shot as well. If you search through some threads, area91 contacted zex and got the jet charts for up to 150.

Yeah I guess just having a wide band o2 should tell me everything I need to know to make the next step. Alot cheaper than another motor lol. Sugestions on cheap o2 lol?

Anyone else out there have any input on water meth and nitrous? Will the meth be enough added fuel to support 150 shot? From what I heard, stock injectors are maxed out around 300chp.

I'm confused by your fuel question. You do have a zex dry kit right?

Yeah its a dry kit. Im thinking with a 150 shot on stock fuel system I'll run lean. But the meth should act like added fuel correct? I was wondering if that lone would be enough fuel to support a 150 shot. Iguess I could always add more meth and a larger amount injected. Im also abit worried about meth puddleing in the tanks. But im thinking as long as it stays a atomized mist it should be fine under wot
