EL SHO
Taco Manager
Hello everyone, I'm new to the SHOForum nut not that new to the SHO lifestyle.
Just wanted to say Hi all the way from Monterrey, Mexico and introduce what type of SHO I have and what I've done to it:
1994 Taurus SHO ATX, Opal Frost Metallic with 80k (when I got the car almost a year ago had just 74,800 miles).
During this time I've changed its alternator once, voltage regulator once again, rebuilt water pump, power steering pump as the original was leaking, spark plugs, all filters, both tie rods, front brakes, driver-side ball joint (arm) and redid the sunroof cover as the original ceiling was falling down and had to pay to have the A/C fixed as it was leaking from somewhere, changed the headunit and installed an analog voltmeter, but I'm looking for a digital one. Transmission had to be rebuilt and I still have a small issue in which my OD will kick out and will not stay in that gear.
Next to do is the upper 60k maintenance, fix a couple of torn stitches in the driver seat, change the whole ceiling to match up with the newer sunroof cover, some new from suspension bushings, replace or fix the LED stop light, paint or dye some interior panels as they are kinda "burned" from too much sun and the gray color is a bit faded and install the original subwoofer box that I found on eBay for it with a new amp.
It's a fun car, not perfect but very fun to drive and to work on; I couldn't have completed all this work with the help of a friend so we both have learned the meaning of being a SHO mechanic
That was a long intro.... lol !
