So hey im new here and have a 95 SHO with a 3.2 And i just cleaned out the intike with a can of intake cleaner and idles 100 times better now and runs smoother. But while i was doing that when i shut if off the belt area was smokeing and smelt like burning rubber? not suer what thats about but when you get on it you can smell it too. and the check engine ligh come on and off whenever it wants to? im thinking it has something to do with the horrible exhaust leak though. And im haveing trouble finding a front motor mount for it too? Thats all i can really think of right now im sure theres more i have wrong with it.. haha

For the check engine light, go to shopheonixprodject.com (Im sure I spelled it wrong). It will tell you how to pull your codes with a paperclip. After you get those post back and we should be able to help out. As far as the smoking from the belt area....kinda hard to diagnose without more detail. How is the tension/condition of your belt? Do you have an oil leak of any kind?

Smoke is usually oil, although it can be electrical or a belt or tensioner going. You need to inspect thoroughly to find the source and check the codes.

It sounds like one of the accessories is binding up or the idler is too tight.
