Good day all!

Technically, this is my second post.

I've been reading different posts on this forum as I wait for the 2018 SHO I ordered to be built and get to the dealership. I'm looking forward to the car getting here.

Just wanted to say "hi"....

Agreed...I ordered in September..before 2018s were being built...but too late to order a 2017. I just found today that a VIN has been set...here's hoping it's soon.

FWIW, I ordered a blue SHO with Driver Assist Package, Navigation and the low gloss machined wheels.

I'm a bit anxious, as the last new car I ordered was my 2005 Ford Excursion...that I still have...

Can't believe I am saying this about the SHO, but it will feel smaller than the Excursion LOL.

Big news! The car came in yesterday. Crazy part is, I saw it on the Ford COTUS site go from "Awaiting Shipment" to "Delivered" in 1 day. Scheduled build date was December 7. I work with the dealership and spoke to the guys several times today. It wasn't until late today that it was realized the car had arrived. I would've got it earlier today had I known, but then the snow came through...I'll just wait until Monday when I need to be there anyhow. Hopefully, the roads will be a bit clearer by then.

Its a 2018 SHO in the new metallic blue, charcoal/mayan grey interior, navigation, moonroof and driver assist package.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should hold onto my 2006 Lincoln for a couple months until the salt is gone. It has 125,000 miles, looks good, runs good...but it will need tires and I really don't need a second insurance payment or the potential of something breaking, etc....
