Impressive weight, IMO. I weighted the stock 20’s on my MKS and they were 61.5lbs with 255/45/20 tires...

Not sure I want to go down the rabbit hole of weighing tires, it was hard enough just to find a dealer that actually listed weigh of wheels much less finding an actual light weight wheel that I liked. Once you get into tires there are so many things to think about an limited availability, think I will just go with what I like. But it does seem to handle a little better so I do think it made a difference.Impressive weight, IMO. I weighted the stock 20’s on my MKS and they were 61.5lbs with 255/45/20 tires...
LMAO I understand you being skeptical and removing 36 pounds from the driver seat would do almost nothing, Well I would be much healthier and happier but the car would not be noticeably different but I give you the below information for your consideration about un-sprung rotational weight.36lbs...and you're feeling it?
They are Goodyear's, I have not looked up there weight, I'm trying to wait until I actually need tires before I go down that rabbit hole, as long as my new tires are not heavier I will be happy, since it took forever to fine the right wheel. But I’d be interested in knowing the weight of the tires
I was wondering what size these where, I could not find anything in a 20" that was under 22 pounds, and they where around $300, I considered going to a 19" because there where a lot more choices but I like the 20" and I would have to buy new tires so the ones I ended up with was a good compromise.Tirerack has these. They weigh 21Lbs. I kind of like them.
Nice. Let us know how the car feels with the lighter rims. The should help acceleration and handling.I just ordered a set of these wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 XL for my 2012 MKS Ecoboost.

Will do. I wanted the black ones with the Firestone indy 500s, but they were on backorder till mid July. I'm running the LMS 4+ tune with drop in filter, thermo, gapped plugs, and 3 bar map. I love my little sleeper lol

-There called FK-ETOS RT-57 - ITEM# 20534Got a part/model number for these?![]()
I tried to find rims that would make my car look like it just drove off a NASCAR track, LOL It is kind of amazing that number of rims I looked at and other then the Forgline's which are a work of art but cost as much as my car, I could not find anything I loved. But the car does drive better with the lighter wheels. The 80's throw back in me would lover to have a set of Weld Drag Lite's or something resembling them in a 20".
I know the feeling, I really wanted a set of HREs but they were out of my budget.I tried to find rims that would make my car look like it just drove off a NASCAR track, LOL It is kind of amazing that number of rims I looked at and other then the Forgline's which are a work of art but cost as much as my car, I could not find anything I loved.
