Hey everyone I'm Andy from ND.
I joined because I am trying to decide to fix or sell my 97 sho. I bought the car about two years ago it has stung 120000 miles the guy I bought it from said it leaked out all the oil and he said the rear seal was out. I am wondering if that's all that's wrong with it or am I going to have to get some bearings and possibly take the crank and have it machined. My other issue I'm having my trouble finding the seal on the web... The car is in pretty decent condition and I want to either get it going myself or sell it to someone that would put it back on the road.

Welcome Andy - I'm originally from ND as well.

If it "leaded out all the oil" it is very likely that there is serious internal engine damage. Unfortunately, you likely won't know until you put oil in it and fire it up, or else take it apart to see. You will find that parts for the V8 SHO are quite difficult to locate.
