Hey Guys, Im new to the board and just wanted to touch on a few things and see what feedback I could get...

1st off, I traded in my 2011 F150 Eco-boost on a 2010 SHO with very low miles, as of now the car has a Magnaflow cat-back and that is it. What Im trying to figure out is this... Why is it that on my F150 all you could hear were the turbos and on the SHO you cant hear them at all? Also, If you put the f150 in 4x4 and brake boost it, it would leave on boost, the SHO will not. I swear the f150 ( when brake boosting it) was faster 0-40 then the SHO is stock. As I am great friends with Dan at Livernois, I will soon be getting a tune as his tunes are next to none.. But I still dont understand why you can not hear the turbos at all of the cars?

Also, anyone having issue with the belt making noise? On cold start ups, mine squeaks for a bout 2 min and then goes away. Im thinking the detailer at the dealer got tire shine on the belt when detailing the motor. Anything out there to clean the belt off?

1 last thing.... it seems like a home made CAI would be very easy on this car and give the same out come as a aftermarket, any one done this yet? If so, did it make the turbos any louder?

Thanks in advance for the help guys!!!!

If you do a home-made or the Airaid CAI, you will hear the turbos chirp! Dan or Rick @ Livernois can help you with either. I used a Roto-Fab "J" pipe - backwards and added a Round filter. Mine is AEM but a K& N or others would also work. Then I configured the right pieces to attach it to the stock plumbing. Likely would have bought the Airaid kit, but it wasn't available when I created mine. Works like a charm! Mostly Visual Fluff!
Much like the Sound Fluff from the exhaust! At least you know it's running......
