Ok, 1996 sho, first broke cable for intake valves ( or what ever their called) got a cable at pick n pull. Now car started idling rough and sputters when accelerating (bad) have to baby it to even move. An sometimes takes off fine, idle is always rough. Highway is ok but can feel hesitation when lift on pedal...codes: 0300,0302.....and I don't understand this one p1121...?

First of all hopefully moderators can move this thread. This is the 2010 + SHO section, the pre 2010 SHO is a separate section and thread.

A moderator may move this thread to the Gen 3 section.

The P1121 code is defined per the Ford factory service manual as "TP SENSOR AND MAF SENSOR RATIONALITY CHECK" which means "Continuous Memory DTC P1121 indicates the TP sensor is inconsistent with the MAF sensor." To troubleshoot this along with the misfire codes I'd suggest you review everything you worked on while replacing the Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) cable as well as connections in the area around where you worked. I'd suggest you start with the MAF sensor and the intake air tubing as that could explain the rough idle, the P1121 diagnostic code, and the the random misfire. Also verify all coil pack are still properly plugged in and, if you took off the upper intake to replace the cable (not sure if that's required or not) you may have to take it off again to verify the integrity of the gasket.

Both the Throttle Position Sensor and the MAF Sensor are before the IMRC so I don't expect that the IMRC operation would have any effect on P1121.
