New starter - wrong one for GenI?

Just received my starter from Rockauto (601980) - it's missing the single blade terminal connection.
Does it look like a GenII or other and otherwise wrong starter?

The one you had on there looks like a Gen II starter. I don't remember having a spade connection on my Gen I

Agree, looks like a Gen 2 starter from your current car. Take a look at the starters on the Shosource link.

Indeed, my GenI had a GenII on it.

That’s not a gen 2 starter. I just changed it on my gen 2 and it looked nothing like that. Still had a solonoid on it. Yours looks like a gen 2 starter.
