I'm not so sure anyone is steering a SHO at those speeds.....if you do make sure its filmed. Im old enough to watch the carnage. Lol

I just did 140 on route 8 the other night. Felt fine. Went around some long highway bends in it, too.

Only alarming thing was how much gas that used.

You have splash guard? are you running a splitter?
No splitter, non PP. Not sure about a splash guard. Front spoiler, you mean?

Now, I'm not saying I'd want to try figure 8s at that speed...but at no point did I feel a loss of control in the wheel. Planted maybe isn't a term I'd use...but stable? Absolutely.

Just wondering and throwing it out there. Not sure how bad your car is at high speed compared to mine or others but did you get the wheel balance checked? Meaning the weights on it

I did 140 on I-80 couple times last year straight as an arrow no shaking felt like I was doing 65 smooth ride...
The only time I had mine well into triple digits the temp was in the 20's and things were exceptionally smooth and quiet. Straight stretch of empty highway and the car felt absolutely fine.

Just to clarify, I never experienced shaking or any steering issues. I've driven actual sports cars and maybe that's why it felt so..... Different... Stability wise.

I can second that. At high speeds, the car is fine. But it doesn't FEEL planted. A guy I know has a 2010 ZR1, and when he took me out in it, he made it to 170, and that car felt totally planted, completely in control.

Exactly man, I've ridden in all types of sports cars and I guess planted is the word that best describes it.
**** even German luxury cars feel great at high speeds. The difference is staggering if you drive one after the other.

Keep in mind that is not bashing the SHO, I'm honestly amazed that it does as well as it does. I think it is amazing for long trips and around town as well. I enjoyed mine a lot, and I honestly think they will bring it back again eventually.
