New SHO Questions

I am looking into getting a low-mileage used SHO or a new one. In looking on the Ford website, the 2017 model Performance Package states that the PP includes upgraded performance brake pads AND larger front and rear rotors. I was under the impression that the 2016 PP only included upgraded pads?

Does "larger" mean larger diameter or maybe just thicker?

Also, are the SHO seats basically the same seats in a standard Taurus with SHO logo?

A little more digging on the Ford website and I think I was able to answer my own questions. It looks like all Taurus rotors are 13.86" front and rear. It appears that the SHO rotors are vented (versus solid on other models) and the PP brakes have larger pads as the braking area is larger. It doesnt appear that there are any differences between the 2017 and the 2016 model...
