New SHO owner from CA

Hey everyone. Im a little late in joining the forums but I bought a 92 mtx in september. Just got it painted candy red. Im going to keep it mostly stock with the exception of a CIA and maybe a chip.
Car runs beautifully except for the occassional die and no start (Crank sensor) that will be fixed in a couple weeks.
so yeah im glad i joined so now i can connect with other members with the same cars to trade advice and get my cars problems solved.

im in northern cali in the bay area.
have only seen like 2 shos since i got mine.
i'll be moving to phoenix in a couple months and im dissapointed there arent more resources for sho owners like there is here in ca.
oh and about dumping money into this car being inevitable, i knew what i was getting into when i bought it but i love the car so whatever money that is put into it is worth it especially when 4k hits and those secondaries open up in first gear and the front tires pull the car to the left, these things have some power.

You runnnig drag radials or somthing, I never really got torque steer in my Sho's stock.

The turbo sho now, that thing will veer you into the other lane if you arn't ready when it comes on in 2nd gear. (Ask Matt about almost hitting the Mazaratti..... )

No drag radials on this thing. Maybe the car is just in good tune.I mean the thing literally pulls to the left at WOT when the secondaries open up. This is an MTX of course

Looks great. I've owned 92,94,and 95 SHOs, and I think 92 is the best of the generation 2s. NO VAPS; No immovable center console; No spoiler. And the good things it's missing you can always add later; e.g., 96 brake upgrade, steering wheel with the horn where it ought to be.
