Good afternoon SHO Members! I’m new here. I have a 2014 Black SHO and I love it! The only upgrade I would like to give it is a good sounding exhaust system! Would that require starting at the engine or behind the catalytic converter? Any good recommendations would be much appreciated! I just replaced my wiper control module today and now I need to work on tracking down the fix for the climate control system that repeatedly turns on and off! Very annoying!

There are several different options. Be careful you can get hooked on greater hp/tq output. It is much easier and more satisfying with a forced induction vehicle. More power more easier. Not the best english but the point gets across. you will need a way to install the tune (handheld tuner) a different MAP sensor that goes to 2.5 or 3 Bar, maybe colder spark plugs and or t-stat. It's not super cheap but most people likes it. Look around in various posts

I am new here also, lots of options but I highly recommend Unleashed Tuning. My tune is very daily driver friendly and REALLY made a difference. The customer service there is ROCKSTAR also.

Torrie M is one of my favorite people for customer service for sure. I don't use tunes since I have the early SHOs but he used to sell Ford parts and was a go to for me.

Hello my name is Leo and I own a 2013 SHO black on black. Its stock for now, but I’m no newbie to mods. I’m looking to upgrade power and performance but I’m going to start with my brakes and suspension first. Any suggestions on the suspension would be much appreciated. Is there a specific website everyone goes to for parts? Thanks in advance.

I ended up using AJP Turbo. I made inquiries to 4 tuners. GH, AJP, livernois and unleashed. Livernois I wouldn't let them tune my lawn mower. They seemed annoyed that I was asking just basic questions where GH, unleashed and Brad at AJP where considerate and a pleasure to go back and forth with endless questions. I chose Brad but If he wasn't available, unleashed would be my go to. All but livernois put customer service as priority. And don't worry about tuning, GH, AJP and unleashed will walk you through everything you need to do. Let them no your a newbie at this and they will give you all the step by step instructions and parts you will need. But a tune by far is the best b a n g for the buck.

If you want to lower your car H&R is the way to go. As far as brakes, if you have a non PP, just swap out your pads for OEM performance pads and it's a night and day difference. As far as parts, shop around even for me, getting a 3bar was only 60 bucks from American trucks vs 120 bucks elsewhere. Rock auto is good. And unleashed sells great parts.

We have all been down this road on exhaust. honest to keep drone down keep it stock and get yourself some PPE downpipes. I have MRT axle-back but had to have resonators installed to cut the drone down in the cabin. There is some great YouTube videos as reference. I used this one and copied his resonator design.
Drone dropped 90%, has a nice rumble now. I wont post a vid until my PPE downpipes get installed. But it has a nice deep growl and at highway speeds is quiet. There was a thread on this very exhaust just a couple of weeks ago on here. This guy sold his exhaust on Ebay.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to look into it.
