New Owner Introduction 2014 SHO

Good afternoon,

Just purchased added a lightly used 2014 SHO (12K Miles) to our stable.


The SHO is certified and was previously owned by friends so I know the brief history and am assured was extremely well maintained.

The color is White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat with the Charcoal Black interior
Options include:
401a package
- HD Radio
- Sony Sound System
- Rain Sensing Wipers
- Auto high Beams
- Blind Spot monitoring
- Heated Steering wheel
- Rear Window Power sunshade
- Heated Rear Seats

Additional options
- Navigation
- Moonroof
- 20" Wheels

Given that the vehicle is relatively new, certified and covered under warranties I figure I'm safe for a while, but thought I'd ask if there are any trouble areas that I should keep an eye on in the future. Might end up installing a tune at some point but not right now.

Congrats on scoring the '14 SHO, George, and welcome to the forum! I would suggest familiarizing yourself with existing TSBs for the 2010+ SHOs to get an idea of what the most common problem areas are. Do you have an extended warranty already? If considering it, buying online from a Ford dealer is worthwhile.

It is still under factory warranty and also has a certified on top of that.
