Never been a noob...
Depending on what it is, a Red under hood component is good for between 0.1 and 0.3 sec in the 1320... My red powder coated subframe took off 1 sec/lap at Road America.
It looks like they are good for 96+ I am seeing if they can one for the SHO.

The one in your ad is for the 3.8 V6 Mustang. It's ok, it's the same coil.

Can it be verified if the tabs on the connector are in the right place? Even though coils like these can work with most FORD DIS systems, for some reason FORD offsets the tabs a little bit for different applications. You can still plug it in, but it will "stretch" the plastic on your harness connector.
Or you could shave off the tab if it's in the wrong place.

I know what you mean. They only have the vertical connector though.

It's vertical because it's meant to bolt onto the side of the 3.8's split port intake .

What country are these made in? The accel coils were made in China and would crack internally causing all sorts of issues. The price tends to lead some to believe it's another piece of crap from China, but I will be pleased if that's not the case.

Accel makes garbage ignition components.
The MSD "Street Fire" Ignition prodcuts are also GARBAGE straight from China with a HUGE mark up.
I had one on my Trans Am and it blew out on me.MSD doesn't reccomend them for performance applications.Do a quick google search and you'll see lol
