Hello! I bought my first SHO last night. It’s a 2013 with the 402A package and the performance package. Just over 47,000 miles. Looking forward to being a regular on the forum. Love the car so far!

Tuxedo black metallic. I was about to fly to New Mexico to look at a 2018 but this one showed up at a Carmax about 70 miles from home. It’s a gem. Can’t believe it’s 10 years old. I had mustang cobras and lightning trucks for years before I had kids. Gonna see what I can do with this now. Looking forward to surfing the forums for info.

Ya that’s on the list of things to do. I don’t have 93 octane fuel readily available though. I’m gonna have to settle for a 91 octane tune. Tinting the windows on Thursday for the first mod.

tsbs/recalls here ... there were a lot of them specific to 2013, as that was a design update year.

Dug into service history this week. Car hasn’t seen much use per Carfax at 17,000 miles since 2017. Looks like it had a new PTU do to bearing failure earlier this year at 46,000 miles along with coolant flush, rear toe links, oil/filter, air filter and 4 new tires. Repair shops wouldn’t tell me anything over the phone, I had to drive in and speak to them directly. Can’t find anything on trans fluid or rear diff fluid being changed. Those will be done shortly. Thanks for all the welcome posts. This forum has so much good information. I’m not sleeping much as I’m staying awake at night researching.

93 tune I'm the works?

I got a 90 day warranty from Carmax when I bought it. Gonna run through that and then start doing some mild stuff. Warranty ends October 3. I did a JnL catch can the other night though. Been looking at the GH power package and EPP pipes.

Update, it’s been awhile, KnN drop in added, SCT BDX w/3 AJP turbo 91 octane tunes so far, ceramic coating done. Almost at 50,000 miles. Loving the car. I have the Anthony DiCunzolo's mounts ready to be installed this weekend. Got a bunch of amsoil fluids to change PTU fluid, trans fluid, rear diff and engine oil and filter. Looking at plugs, 3 bar map sensor and thermostat next. Per Brad at AJP my fuel here in Cali sux, but turbos are healthy per data logs. Gonna shoot for an E30 tune down the road as well. I have 2 stations selling e85 by me. Thanks for all the info on the forum. Cheers
