New member exhaust question

Hello all. I just picked up a 2010 and wanted to change the exhaust. Nothing loud but just a little rumble. Wife will **** me if it's to loud. She already thinks my GT500 with no cats is too loud.

I don't want to do a full system. Just mufflers. What are your suggestions?

Flowmaster maybe? I seeing them on carid.com

I believe dynomax makes a axle back kit.

OR... You can just replace your rear mufflers with a pair of magnaflows. I did that early on on my Flex. Bought the satin SS and painted them black like stock. Used stock tips. Cost around $300. installed. Sounds about as loud as a stock new V-6 Mustang.

I wonder the same thing. What would the flowmasters sound like since thats all i ever bought. hence ive only owned Mustangs. Anybody know?????

I put a borla system on my 2010, sounds real nice. Listened to the Corsa but was too loud

Dynomax does make a axle-back, part # 39502, has anybody installed this?

I just installed the Dynomax axle back system. It came with clamps but I had it welded in. Sounds great to my ears. I was not looking for extra power, just sound and a little bit of looks. The tips on these are a little larger than stock and they are finished in stainless throughout, you don't see the pipe within the tips like stock. No drone at all on the highway, just a really nice growl. Now we'll see how well they last.
