Hey guys,

Just joined the ranks of v8 SHO's. I picked up a 97 black SHO in great condition. I picked it up as a 'beater' for my other car. I'll let the pics show ya that:

If ya can't see in the background I have a 2000 FRC Corvette sitting in the garage.. along with that I have 2nd beater(the drive to work car) 94 Mazda 626..

Just reading up a few write ups and such here.. not sure if my car has a welded cam - but the dash has something reading PM 45K taped to it. Any idea on what that would be?

The only way to know if the cams have been welded, short of a receipt for the job, is to pull the head covers and see. You need to do that, or have it done, pretty quickly since it will inform your next moves with the car, just drive it, or getting the cams fixed soon.
