ok so i have heard a lot about the 96 and cobra brake upgrades but i cant afford them so i am gunna go with the stock because i am missing a pad and have a cracked rotor (cant last much longer haha) so i was wondering how hard it would be to do my self a brake job (never done it b4) and how much it would cost for parts, also if there are .......... directions GASP that would be neat

Here is a link to instructions. SHOPhoenixProject

It isn't too bad to do it yourself and you will save a bunch of money. I replaced the front brakes, rotors, and calipers on my car before winter and it wasn't bad. The only major problem i had was that one of the rotors was rusted to the hub:oogle: . As long as that doesn't happen it shouldn't be too bad. I think it cost around $100 for everything for the front. $40 for both rotors. The calipers I can't remember but i think they were around $40 each but they came loaded with pads. I got my stuff from autozone and the loaded calipers came with a limited lifetime warrenty so whenever I need new pads in the front they will give me new loaded calipers for free. Good Luck.:thumb:

This was for a 91, but the prices shouldn't be too different.
