Went to State Capital Dragway in Baton Rouge. Temps low 70's, 74% humidity.

1st pass, 1.946 60ft, 1/8th 8.506 @ 81.95, 1/4 13.245 @ 103.74
2nd pass, 1.952 60ft, 1/8 8.502 @ 82.01, 1/4 13.238 @ 103.75
3rd pass, 1.946 60ft, 1/8 8.486 @ 82.19, 1/4 13.213 @ 104.02
let it cool down an hour
4th pass, 1.977 60ft, 1/8 8.485 @ 82.59, 1/4 13.189 @ 104.38
let it cool down another hour
5th pass, 1.945 60ft, 1/8 8.439 @ 82.72, 1/4 13.145 @ 104.15

Temps weren't great, 70's, with humidity around 74%. Next time I'll ice the intake and wait for COLD air to hit 12's.

Again, I had lots of people doing a why is that here, then at the end of the track, what did that just run.

The 4th run was against a 2011 Camaro SS vert that went 13.181 @ 108.9, but all he ever saw was Taurus taillights. My rt of .045 to his .751.:laugh_ti:

As to not offend, posted my new PB in the top 10 thread.

So close to the 12's -- great times, black99lightnin. Keep at her.

We'd **** for those temps up here in the north.
Enjoy.

Nice runs! How are you launching? I know most people try to footbrake as hard as possible, but with our SHO, it runs best leaving from around 1,600-1,700 rpm's. It's always slower when we tr to leave harder.

I'm definitely guilty of pushing as hard as possible. Well over 2krpms. I'll try launching softer next time and see what happens. What about icing the intake, like on the Shelby?

Hopefully that helps, it definitely makes a big difference with our car.

Icing the intake may help a bit, but they heat up really fast just idling up to the line.
