Hello everyone. Just bought a used 2014 SHO non PP a week ago. (Dealer told me it had the PP...oh well).

I came to it from a 2009 base model Honda Civic whose only option was A/C. Needless to say, I am riding on a cloud through heaven now...a turbo charged cloud that massages me as I go along. :)

I have been reading through as many performance upgrade posts and my sleepy eyes will let me for the past couple weeks. I now have the Livernois Level 4 kit on its way to be installed. I should have it on Monday and tuned by Wednesday (depending on the Livernois workload). I have also ordered the LED DRL kit from DriveBright.com and those should be in Monday as well. Looks like Monday is going to be a busy day. I have also taken it in to get a 35% tint on all windows. It's that state limit here in Connecticut, but it looks good.

I have seen one post here about the SHO badge on the sides being converted into turn signals and I am interested in getting that done, but I will search that part out in a different thread.

I guess my one and only performance upgrade question is whether or not it would be worth the time and money to upgrade all the pieces/parts to match the Performance Package and if not, what would be worth upgrading besides what I already have on order. It is my daily driver, but I like to have fun getting there and back.

Thanks for all the good reading over the past couple of weeks!

Welcome to the community, Alex, congrats on the new ride, and thank you for your service :salute:. Too bad the PP was not delivered, they should make that up to you. The coolers and brake pads are probably the most significant and worthwhile transferable upgrades. The PTU might be, but haven't seen anyone do that yet; instead put it on a regular fluid change schedule. The trans upgrade is likely to be the most expensive tho.

Congrats on the new ride. Sucks it's not a PP but at least you can have your back massaged while you beat everyone.

The side SHO badges as turn signals might be neat. I haven't seen this post yet. Makes me think even a light up SHO badge like the f150's would be cool.

Enjoy the extra non-pp bells and whistles though!
My only complaint on the non-PP is the squishy brakes...pad upgrades will change that though. Other than that, my non-PP is comfy for daily commute and a blast to drive. I've also heard that the different gear ratios between the 2 are negligible after tune.

If it is just pads then maybe I'll upgrade the rotors and pads at the same time. Something I am sure I can do myself.

My ride definitely is comfy. The adaptive cruise control and lane assist are new tech to me and I am using them everyday.

I have a lead on these signals right now. Nothing concrete...I also priced the badges at the dealership in an attempt to try to make some on my own. I just don't have a good working knowledge of LED technology. Maybe I can find some cheaper ones online to experiment with.
