well its Fri night and instead of going out with those ******* models i won in a poker game , im stranded in the garage trying to fix the sho. my ignition cylinder is on the fritz , it wont allow me to turn the car off. so i bought a new one today along with a steering wheel puller , a guy said i would def need. batt is unhooked , pulled the fuse for the air bag - just to be on the safe side , removed the steering column housing. now what? whats my next step to remove the steering wheel? im not going anywhere , so im sure you would get a quick reply with any questions. 95 atx thanks

Scooby- you shouldn't have to pull the wheel- once the column trim is off, there should be a small "button" under the lock cylinder. Push that in while you turn the key back, and the cylinder comes out. At least that's how I remember doing it. I think there is a wire with a slide clip that comes off first too, that's the chime thingie, it slides off with some help.

And if you didn't open the wheel puller, return it- of all the wheels I've pulled at the boneyard on lots of Ford vehicles, I've never used one. I **** pull the bolt and pop it with my hands from the back until it loosens itself off.
