I want to swap a 3.2l with a manual into my car it is not a ford..... Have some questions about upgrades....... I want to run the wesco12.5:1 pistons with the plus 40 cams and a stage 3 port job on the intake runners with the 40mm bbb and the 75mm maf and the oversized valves they are 36mm on the intake and 31mm on the exhaust also with the full lenght header and equal lenght high flow cated ypipe ...... so my question is will the 48lbs injectors over fuel the motor with a new high flow fpr kit......:omgsho:

You do not need bigger injectors till you go to boost. If you really want them go with no more then 36lbs.

A tweecer will be needed for larger injectors. I would get it running without the larger injectors just to eliminate problems.

Sounds like a fun project.

My guess is that with cr of 12.5 to 1 and stock timing you would not be able to run pump gas, thats alot of compression.

a 155 will do fine.

He was asking about pump gas (octane).

To the OP:

Answer is, no, not with stock timing. As someone else mentioned that's a heck of a CR, and an interesting as **** project you've got planned!

For injector sizing, here's a handy calculator:

As was mentioned earlier, a Tweecer is definitely going to be needed. A wideband O2 would be very helpful as well.

thanks all for the info. I have another thread in the s/c section I think that it will be best for what I want to do to go with forced induction than N/A. I have been thinking alot about going with a twin turbo setup with one on each side of the engine running a total of 16 psi ( 8psi per side) so please tell me what you think and inform me of any shops that would be willing to do some of the work... as I dont know a lot about doing the work myself.. this is a long term project and I am willing to learn what I can but am not above sending work out to pros who know..

A twin turbo will work the SHO can handle a good amount of boost. Intercooling will work. You will need the 255 fuel pump and FPR to run it though.

A larger MAF is a must.

Once you hit about 11:1, you lose all pump gas ability unless you tune the **** out of it. GL with your project.
