need parkin brake line off caliper??? asap

The parkin brake line that goes into the rear driver side caliper i cant get off. there is a c clip that i pulled off and i got line off the spring mechanism. But im not sure how to get the line off the caliper. i need to go to autozone like now for the core charge is p[retty high.

Should i rip off the end of the cable or does the whole piece that had the retainin clip on it pull out?

Soak it in lots of penetrant such as PB Blaster, grab the cable with some visegrips, turn it back and forth and then start trying to back it out while turning.

Clean up the cable and the hole in the caliper with some sandpaper before reinstalling, and smear it with some antiseize.

its an automatic, i didnt need it that bad ne ways. So i just got rid of it. i had to get it off in time to get a new caliper. thanks though

Does your state have safety inspections? If so, functioning parking brakes are usually a requirement to pass. Just FYI.

Remove the C clip, and tap it out using a flat head screwdriver and a light hammer, 16oz. should be enough.
