Hey to all,
I recently bought a new radio for my 1992 SHO. The new radio is from a 1994 Taurus, but besides that its the same. Well, I hooked up everything that I could see, including all the electronics in the trunk and the radio itself. When I turn it on now, I get a display on the radio screen, but there's no sound at all. Is there something I missed? If any of you guys could help with this, it would be great.

Thanks

Do you have power at the amplifier in the trunk? Did you just replace from another factory unit? If it wasn't stock before you could have a jumper connection on the amp in the trunk.

You might have a radio that came from a car with the slave CD player. If so, you will need the jumper plug in the 6 pin socket on the back of the radio for it to work.
