Okay, here's the deal...I need to do one of two things. I either need to get a stock amp for my car and replace the one that's in there, or I need to wire in a new amp.

Which do you suggest?

Second question is...does anyone HAVE a stock amp that they'd sell REALLY cheap by chance??

Third thing is...if I have to wire in an aftermarket amp, does anyone have the diagram that shows the wire colors and what they go to? I'm in dire need of my radio working cause I'm about to go crazy without it. LOL Thanks in advance guys.

Go out and spend $350 and get a good cd player and and Alpine 40wx4 RMS amp. It will save you time and it will sound nice. I have that amp and it only cost $180. It will require some wiring but it is easy.

I think I have the whole JBL setup in my garage. Evrything is still bolted up to the metal rack...I may risk my life and dive into the abyss of parts if the price is right.

Well, here's the deal...I'm considering one of two things...I'm going to go to a SHO in a junk yard I know of that MIGHT still have the AMP. If it's not there, I may buy a CD player from one of you, if you give me a REALLY good price. What would you sell the CD player for? What about the AMP?

PROBLEM SOLVED! Got a new amp! CD Player is dead, but got a good amp that allows the radio and tape player to work, so I'm happy.

Did you know that the CD Player not working will cause the Radio not to put out any sound at all?? Apperantly you have to put a short-plug in the CD Player plug-in slot on the back of the radio to make it work once the CD Player goes out. For some reason, when the CD Player goes out, it screws with the circut connections and doesn't allow the radio to produce any sound. But if you unplug the top right right plug on the back (CD Plug-in) and replace it with a "short-plug", the radio produces sound again. VERY good to know! Later guys!
