I just recently installed new Tokico's, and my biggest problem now is my is the popping/groaning I get when turning and I just recently discovered my right spring popped out of its lower mounting perch  because something up top is binding bad.

Here are the parts I replaced, of course the Tokico's, new strut bearings, police strut mounts, and washers/hardware, what I never replaced were the plates that have slots where the bearings tabs slide into.

Would that plate be causing my very bad binding problems now? Before I even did the Tokico's I had no binding problems or even noises just endlink issues, so the only thing I can blame this new problem is how I re-assembled the whole strut setup itself(improper placement of the two big washers?) or because I reused those plates the bearings sit on...??

Those plates are not wear parts and as long as the tabs that secure the bearings are intact, they are not suspect. If the spring is not rotating, the upper bearing is not doing its job. Have you disassembled/reassembled a strut and spring assembly before? Sorry to ask, but unless the upper components were not installed correctly, this would not have happened.

Here is a link to a diagram showing the proper assembly of the Taurus' front and rear suspensions.
