Need Help With Ignition

I Have A 1992 Sho With 118,000 miles. when i engage the clutch and turn key my car says nothing. i tried to jump start it and still nothing. There seems to be no fire between ignition and starter... what could this be?

Help please :confused:
where is the clutch interlock switch located? Battery is hot, lights,radio etc works,,,,

Problem Solved.....
It Was The Solenoid !!!!!!!

Could be the starter solenoid or the clutch interlock switch. You'll have to do some diagnostics. Have you checked the voltage onthe battery? If it is shorted internally, a jump start won't work.

I have the Ford security system on my '90. It is very flakey. I can no longer set the alarm because it will radomly go off. Also it sets a **** switch that disables the starter wheather I set the alarm or not. Furthermore, the car will not start unless both front doors are closed.

This is probably not the same problem you're having, but I thought I would add my 2 cents.
