Need help or crushed it will be.

Now that I have your attention, I need help figuring out this stupid problem with the temp gauge in my 99.

At random while driving it will flutter. Today it was spinning around completely. There where no noticable affects on driving or perfomance, its just getting damn annoying. The speedo tends to bounce alittle too everyonce in a while as well.:grrr:

Loose or corroded connectors on the back of the IC maybe.

hmmm crushed huh? ill give you 200 bucks over scrap value Seriously though, maybe the sending unit is bad and being all screwy?

The temp sender is just aft of the water pump on the drivers side. I woudl at least remove , clean and reconnect that connector. It is simple and will only take a few minutes to get in there.

It might be easier to get to if you removed the intake plumbing between the TB and airbox.
