Okay guys......I really need some help here.
I received a free 1994 SHO ATX from my dad's friend and it has a tranny problem....and also won't start.(I'm really sure it's just the fuel pump/fuel filter) When my dad's friend drove the car about a year ago, the car would lose first gear after it warmed up(about 5 miles?) My father and I believe it's the shifter solenoids or just bad fluid. Anyway, I ordered a fuel pump with strainer, fuel filter, tranny filter kit, tranny pan gasket and A/C bypass pulley. I was wondering... any of you in the NOVA area? I'm located in woodbridge,VA. Which is about 30 mins south of DC, I'm right off of a I-95 exit. I was wondering if anybody could swing by my house and help me put all this stuff on my car. I would pay you of course. lol. Maybe we could work some kind of deal out? I would be willing to give you cash, plus a 1978 Mustang King Cobra that has 80K miles on the car, and 2,200 miles on a rebuilt orig. motor. I am VERY desperate in getting this car done. My dad's T-bird blew up a few weeks ago and I have to drive his ass to work Mon-Fri. Then, I have to go to work from 8 am-PM, Mon-sat. It's really killing us. My dad, a cancer survivor ,and my family are very low on money because of all the bills. I have about 1K saved up in getting this damn car running. Is there anybody out there with a big heart that's willing to help a fellow SHO member out? If so, please mail me at [email protected] or call me at 703-615-8520. I can't wait to drive this car and have many plans for it in the future(Heh, like a turbo kit, or maybe custom fit a Procharger on her?) I'm use to FI cars.. I've owned 2 '90 T-bird SC'S, 1 '85 T-bird TC and a '89 Probe GT turbo. I hope one of you are close by and can lend a hand. Thanks guys !!
Chris
