93 ATX 3.2 "fuse block?". It's located drivers side just behind the head light. There' a set of wires that goes into it then I think 1or 2 wires come out. Has a Ford part# couldn't find anything on it. About 2" long 1"wide total, disconects into 2 pieces. The piece is melted and prev owner cut it out left wires in tact.

well yeah but any camera will give us shape, color, etc. of part. I know my way around an engine compartment pretty well, but not enough to help you from just words. The only thing I can think of is the ABS computer, but that's much bigger than 1"x2". sooo.... sounds aftermarket-y. but it's got a ford part number, so it's not... confusing. Please, pics! ...or...

Hawkeye18 your response is worthless so say something usefull or not at all. Obviously you don't know your way around the engine compartment that well. Because 2 other people who are willing to at least guess what it could be and came up with some very good ideas to try. So keep your SMARTA$$ coments to yourself.

A list of things to look for and post back-on that might help:

  1. color of the connectors (black, gray, other)

  2. color of the wires leading into/out-of each connector (same, different color, solid color, solid color with color stripe)

  3. if the wires from both connectors are cut, what's holding it in place (bracket, clip, yellow/beige harness fastener)

  4. do the wires have any wrap around them (plastic loom, electrical harness tape)

  5. orientation (vertical, horizontal, left-to-right, front-to-back)

its also quite foolish to try to have us identify a part by saying that its behind a headlight with wires coming/going into it... it could be anything... a bit more information is needed... so without the required infromation for us to positively ID a part, your entire thread is useless

do you have any idea if the car is canadian or not, because i would have to agree that it is a Daytime running lamp module... but IIRC reading, theyre made by lucas electronics, so they wouldnt have a ford part number... or would they

could be daytime running lights, theres a few american SHOs running around with daytime running lights, to me tho if its a small box i bet its the crash sensor for the airbags.

X2

Don't ask for help and badmouth the ones trying to help. Thats just DEE DEE DEE

As for the above quote...the Fort number might be on a sticker if the part is OEM.

Can you draw a picture? lol...
