Hey guys,

I'm currently starting to purchase everything needed for the upper 60k. Anyone have any idea where I can get the motorcraft plugs I need at a decent price? Also, do the intake to head gaskets need to be replaced?

Well, so far Rockauto has some good prices... Do I have to go Motorcraft wires or can I use the $69.99 set on SHO Bros Garage?

Rock auto has the AC Delco wires for $50. Go with those. Those are the same ones offered by SHOBros. I've run the Delcos for 40k on the SHO and they've been great.

Also, search the forum for rock auto discount codes. You'll get something like 5% off using them.

you need intake set, valve cover set, wires, plugs, timing belt(don't use ford they cost over $150) you might as well do the waterpump at the same time, and possibly cam seals and crank seals depending on their shape. do the thermostat with housing gaskets and seal, and that should do her. Oh no wait, dont forget to check the valve shims while in there!!! If you do it all yourself and order the stuff from rockauto.com, you should get away paying no more than 350.00, but you will also need to rent a shim kit from somewhere.

I've got him covered on the VA tools & my shim kit is free to use if you buy the tools. It seems not many here on the forum are needing the shim kit I put together to go with the tools! Maybe off to Ebay they go!
