I have a 93, non-RKE MTX and my pwr door locks stopped working subsequent to installing Recaro seats - curious, are the door locks tied into the wiring harness underneath the drivers seat?

I have searched and have tried a few checks - the fuses are in working condition, the windows still work, I have also swapped the switch with a known working switch and still no locks...

Has anyboady run into this? If so, is my assumption correct - is the harness underneath the seat relatd to the locks? Further, if this is the case, can I make a jumper to fix this issue?

. . . . and yes, the harness-leads for the door locks run under the driver's/passenger's front seats.

Glad to hear I could help! I was going to post the circuit for you, but my god... it was three confusing-ass pages, and all I could really make out was that they all went through that one fuse lol.

Because the door locks and windows are on separate harness circuits. Even the Master Window and Door Lock Switch have separate modules under the plastic door panel cover.
