I have a 89 Sho with 162,000 miles on it. The other day i was driving it died on me and wouldnt start, Pulled it home and it started right up and has ever since just stumbles at first then runs fine. I did the Key On Engine Off test I have a few codes i am trying to diagnose, Here are the Codes:

49- Spout signal Open
66- Maf Input Voltage less then min.
87- Fuel pump primary Circuit Failure.
96-High Speed Fuel pump relay open

Thanks,
Josh

spout signal open means that either the spout jumper is missing or there is a wiring issue to the pcm is not seeing the spout jumper

mafs input voltage below min. is either a bad or dirty mafs.

fuel pump primary code results from stalling the engine and generally can be ignored.

tomorrow morning, before starting it, try turning the key to "on" for 4 seconds, then to "off", and repeat 4 times before starting. if that eliminates your stumble at startup, then you know that fuel pressure is leaking down overnight. this could be from an injector that does not shut off, or it could be from a leaking check valve in the fuel pump, so further diagnosis will be required.

Did you try cleaning the maf and then resetting everything. If it still stumbles then try unplugging the maf with it running. if it runs better then it would indicate the the maf is the problem. As far as the spout thing, Ive never messed with it. I just know people pull it to pass emissions test. They say it will make the car run bad though.

no, the engine runs fine w/ the spout connector pulled, just way down on power due to fixed 10* spark advance.

I cleaned the maf, and even tried unplugging it but still the same rough running on start up, If it runs a few mins it clears up and runs perfect

I would reset the codes and see what pops up after a couple of days.
