wow i am so tired of working on this car. right after i installed my new reinforced motor mount and fixed the wiring that got shredded when in went out, i drove the car for about 400 miles before the tranny gave out. i was cruising 70 miles per hour shifting into fifth gear when the grinding and popping started. now the input is locked up. i looked under the car and there is no damage to outside of the case but transfluid leaked out between the engine and tranny. this leads me to beleive that when the cluth blew previously and hacked into the bellhousing walls that it got far enough through a wet wall that it started to seep and eventually opened up. thus leaking all the fluid and locking up the trans.
this leads me to my problem. i have more money in this car than i care to think about. it is rusting beyond repair and i need a donor car with a blown engine or tranny and a transmission to replace mine. i need it before summer rolls around so if you have a clean shell or extra tranny please let me know.
