need a new alternator?

alternator has power going to the 2 prong connector when its unplugged, as soon as i plug it in i have no power on that connector anymore, and i have no power going to the b+ power stud that feeds the integrated control module...

No matter what the symptom, it is usually the alternator. Take it off and have it checked.
It could be the plug, but it is rare.
