Can you guys help identify these gaskets.
Manifold Gasket Set (Intake)

I'm pretty sure the one's on the far right are the Intake Manifold Gaskets that are often replaced during a 60K. But what about the others? I'm just curious.

The ones on the far left are the ones for the secondary runners. the middle are the ones that mate your pleneum to your primary runners. The bottom left is IAB valve gaket. and I am not sure about the other bottom gasket. I dont think I have seen that one before.

The ones on the left go between the long runners and the intake manifold plenum.

The ones in the middle are the horn gaskets. You first install one gasket, then the intake horns, then a second gasket, and finally the butterfly valves.

The ones on the right are the manifold-to-head gaskets.

The one on the bottom left is for the IAB to its heated spacer. The one on the bottom right is the heated spacer to the intake manifold. Note the extra hole in the one on the bottom right. It is for the charcoal cannister vent.

I didn't know that all those gaskets were available as a kit. I ordered them all separately. I could not get the IAB gaskets, though. Ford has discontinued them.

Your cleaned up manifold looks great. I just did mine and I know how long it takes. Did you take out the hex screws and clean out the EGR passages as well as the nostrils? If so, how badly clogged were the passages? My nostrils were largely blocked but the passages were clear.

You really only need the two intake-to-head gaskets on the far right of the picture. You can get these Motorcraft E9DZ-9439-A gaskets for about $12.50 each (2 required) from FordPartsOnline.com or FordPartsNetwork.com.

Thanks for the gasket descriptions.

This is the Gasket Kit pictured on Napa's website, price: ~$36. My bro works @ napa so i should be able to get them for even cheaper. I'll probably go ahead and order them for my 60K even though I'll probably only use the manifold-head gaskets.

Anything wrong with Napa gaskets? Or do you recommend going through ford? I wouldn't think there would be any problems.

Markus, the pics on my site are actually not my mine. These pics were posted awhile back for reference b/c someone wanted to see them.

I'll be doing my 60K this Memorial Day weekend, fun, and i'll probably tackle cleaning those while i'm in there. I think i have everything I need, except those gaskets(cheap insurance). Looking forward to getting it done  .

no...there is nothing wrong with napa gaskets... they are made by victor reinz which is part of dana automotive group..... good stuff, most people on the forum probably use ford or fel-pro, but that does not mean that there is anything substandard about victor reinz..
