For those of you out there who have hooked the bottle up to the GenIII, what systems have you used and how successful have they been? I've noticed a post or two briefly mentioning nitrous, but I've very seriously considering it and would like to hear what people have had success with.

My plan is to stick with a 75 shot and at absolute most to use a 100.

Also, a couple questions:

Would you stick with the fogger? I don't think that for a 75-100 you'd be flowing enough juice to make a port system practical (I am willing to do the labor, but I don't think that a port system is practical in this case.)

Also, what's the best place to introduce the fogger nozzle? (I've read about 3-4" upstream of the throttle plate.)

Last: wet or dry? Advantages/disadvantages of either (It seems as though the stock injectors will flow enough for a 75- will they still be sufficient for a 100?)

First, take a read of http://www.v8sho.com/SHO/nitrous.htm

That should be fine.

Nor is it worth the expense if you're only running a 75 shot. Stick with what is simple.

Also, what's the best place to introduce the fogger nozzle? (I've read about 3-4" upstream of the throttle plate.
Either right at the TB itself or in the air tube between the TB and MAF.

Dry is just fine. I don't know who is running a wet system, but there's a chance of fuel puddling in the surge tank, or a large portion of the fule getting sucked into the two closest cylinders.

There is no out of the box kit that you should run directly. All kits are made for other cars but will adapt to the SHO..

I forget the wacked out jetting I needed to get the A/f proper. Out of the box settings will run you to lean.

Following the Mustang chart, I am useing the 100 Nos Jet and like the equlivent of a 130hp fuel jet to get out of the danger zone.

run your VAC line from the box to the Evap line that runs across the surg tank.

Kirk, Are you using the NOS Mustang-specific kit (I wondered if this would be a good place to start: the NOS-05116 "75-150 Dry Kit") or are you using a generic kit (if so, what one).

Obviously, you are using bigger injectors, but my interest is to stick with the stock injectors and upgrade only the fuel pump if necessary. Will the kit that you are running operate properly with the stock injectors? I'm guessing not if you are already having to bump the fuel jetting above what the "1-1 balance" is.
Also, what sort of trigger setup does yours use? Does it have the microswitch or the TPS-triggered activation?

Thanks for the suggestions- I want to cover the bases before investing in anything and I think that your advice is the best out there.

You will need a better fuel pump if you put on any form of nitrous, if you want to be safe that is. I bought a new stock pump, and under WOT it will push up to 49 PSI, but it falls down below 28 around 6,000 RPM. Even with the nitrous pushing on the regulator, it will fall below 40 PSI. You DEFENATLY want to keep your fuel pressure above 50 PSI during ANY nitrous operation. But I have my system set up at 60 PSI to be safe :) (Thats my why the nitrous doesn't work  )
