Hi all,

I'm new to SHOForum but have been autox'ing my car for several years. Only a couple of the local SHO types have ever come to the events. There are some guys into track days (we refer to them as "crack days" because they're addicting!). But I like the smaller amount of time that autocross takes.

I run in the SCCA events so the mods have been limited to what is legal in their classes. Currently running Street Touring X. It's taken a long time but I've finally beaten all but one of the local Subie drivers. :)

My mods are on my personal webpage,
http://www.calweb.com/~pault/BaySHO/PTSHO.htm

My car is still my daily driver so I have not gone the coilover route. But I'm interested in hearing more about those.

It was interesting seeing the posts about WWSCC. We just had a guy move down here, I think he was running up there (An Nguyen) and he's very good. Ran a Talon-type DSM anyway, also has a BMW.

OK, like that wasn't enough subjects, is the SHO Club convention still on for 2008 up in Washington? I have come up for the SCCA National Tour autocross in Packwood once; beautiful asphalt, but maybe too far from the populated areas for a venue for the convention.

I will try to get on here more often to see what y'all have to say.

more rubber, more HP.....
Good to know there's another SHO autocrosser living and breathing out there. We seem to be a rare breed.

Ever come out to the NW? I race at pretty much all of the WWSCC events.
