Had an annoying clinking over bumps that sounded like it was coming from the back somewheres. I isolated it to the rear console mounted heat vents,(or so I thought). Took out the back console panel that includes the vents and heated seat controls. There are some springs that are for the console cover located there and they rattle loosely back and forth. Put on some thick coats of vaseline and voila! No more noise! Hope this helps some of you trying to fix a noise if you have the same thing.
