Mystery part?

What's the black box mounted underneath the car to the spare tire compartment. It appears to be fuel related but I've searched my Ford service manual cd and could not find it.

That's the charcoal vapor canister.

Thanks- I found it. You would think they would include it in the fuel system section along with the rest of the Evaporative Emission items. No they put it in with the Engine. That thing is no where near where they put it in the GEN I/II.
