you should have two keys for your SHO. One for the ignition with a "square" head, and one for the trunk with a "round" head. Best advice is to call around to some local locksmiths and get a price for keying (not re-keying) an existing trunk lock. Should run around $30-50 and include a new key. Then go to Home Depot or someplace like and get a few more copies made. The "round" key will unlock the lock cylinder by the trunk release next to the driver's seat. GL

If you just got the car, make the dealer give you a key.

If you only had it there for repair and they pushed the button, take it back and tell them you left that button up because you don't have a key and tell them they need to fix the problem.

Either way, they should take care of you if they know any kind of definition for "Customer Service"

Either way, make sure you tell them up front you're not willing to pay so they don't just fix it and then slap you with a bill.

Maybe there's something in there you're not supposed to see... :D

BTW, your SHO is superclean. Why are you doing an engine swap? How many miles are on it and why not just mod the current block?

thares 170K on that car  doesnt look like it dose it. it was owned my some old contractor that drove it across the country and he sold it to a dealer and i picked it up for 2500$. anyway i dont want to take my chances on modding a 170K motor and i couldnt pass up on a 85K motor for 300$. But yea who the guy who owned the car before i did took super good care of it. and im the second owner of it and 2500$ was a pretty good price :thumb:
