Here are some pics of my car, I had it in the garage since last March. I put some STABIL in the gas so that way it wouldnt deteriorate. I also have been starting it up often. I have an Oil leak that when Im under the car theres an occasional drip on the passenger side and it mage the transmission housing partially covered in the oil. The transmission doesnt leak. Where could this be coming from? I've noticed it thoughout 5,000 miles it will lose between 1-2 quarts dont know if its from the drip or burning it. Also not sure why this piece near the top of the passenger side rear of the engine that has the cable plugged into it is covered in an oil soot. Any ideas? Any hints on how I could clean out the engine bay? Also as you can see the plug wells and around them have some oil buildup. Car is in good shape, no rust, interior was restored with crisp seats.

Thanks for all the input anyone is willing to give. I dont know how I can get a 60k done or do it myself. Also the chain tensionors for the cams are knocking. Sometimes you dont hear it at all others it is more prominant.

The seal on the sunroof leaked one of the last carwashs I took it through before I stored it but I repaired the seal with a new one. I also removed the stock radio and replaced it with a touch screen 8.5" LCD that is connected to a very small computer running XP and it controls the sound system. I have 2 10" JVC Warren G subs in the trunk and 2 350 watt amps.

I added the clear corner lights

Some Douche wasnt paying attention and side swiped my car in his explorer so the passenger side is a bit scratched.

So what do you guys think? Suggestions please!

You need to do a 60k my friend.. That oil covered thingy is your cam sensor.. Looks like your cam seals are leaking. and a 155k there is no suprise.. Just tear her down and do a 60k and clean her up nice.. Just follow the instructions on this website!

towards the bottom is what your looking for! Good luck!

How much do all the parts cost for this? Thats alot of oil to be leaking onto the cam sensor. I would sometimes lose torque/power upon accelerating once in a while and would have to lift off the gas and press down again to get it back, do you think this is due to the cam sensor being covered in oil? Are the cam seals are part of a standard 60k? I Really want to take the engine and tranny out and fix everything, all the bushings, ball joints etc. The clutch is pretty new only has about 5k miles on it as well. I want to get this engine tip top since the reast of the car is in very good cond.

A couple hundred bucks for all the parts you need, if you do the work yourself.

Oh, and do rod bearings too while you are working on it, so you don't spin a bearing right after you do all that work....

Thanks everyone for pointing me into the right direction. I wanted to take the whole engine and trans out and do a complete rebuild but I dont know if its necessary. Also I heard something about a pin popping out of the MTX tranny, are there any writeups to prevent this?

Yeah. you ca either weld the diff pins or get a new differential.. the diff will run you about 1300 but tho.. as long as you don't do burn outs you should be fine!

As for the 60k goes. it will be easy out of the car.. give you lots of room to work down there.. good luck. i wish i could help ya!
