I can’t see the question please help
Hey guys I have a resonator delete and a muffler delete on my 2015 sho and It sounds like shit. I was going to go buy OEM mufflers but they aren’t in stock anywhere. I’m looking for something else thats not ear blasting loud but still nice. In the $100-$200 range each muffler.

Thanks

So... I have been researching how to quiet my drone. I have unfortunately 1 expensive but would sound much better without the crap drone and sound. Outside your price range. Qty 2 below link.

OR like you requested- more traditional chambered muffler, it will reduce noise, however I can't guarantee no drone. To help with drone add one of these as well, in place of where the stock resonator was.

magnaflows and flowmasters are indeed your best bets. corsa and dynomax are for people looking to upgrade the sound.

Personally since magnaflow are still a privately owned company... And Flowmaster has been acquired by Holley... I would stay with magnaflow when possible.

I am not a fan of conglomerates, too often corp biz rules cut innovation and design for savings.

I wouldn't advise putting any type of chambered muffler on your car.

What would you advise?

I would say I am thinking what he is suggesting is my mufflers from my signature. Turbos want to breath, I am assuming he is suggesting no baffled muffler cause it creates back pressure. The Taurus SHO mufflers use a baffle system.

I thought OEM sho pipes were 3 inches not 2.5. Will this work?

The 2.5 is fine, some people run 3inch all the way down from the downpipes, howeverthe dp is 2.5 all the way to the back. The 3rd cat gets smaller maybe down to 2.25. It's a restrictive design. If I have time I will grab my pics.

This right here is all you need, trust me, this thing will take care of 90% of the drone but obviously the volume will come down as well. Other option is put oem resonator back on and keep mufflers off

lol you wont, those things work real good. I have a 13 Hyundai Genesis with the v8. Had bought it straight piped and was insanely loud. Put this on and i thought i had like a sport oem exhaust, was day and night difference
