I am about to do a clutch job in my 93 SHO and needed some advice. Is there anything in particular i need to be aware of? Also, I am not for sure how to approach getting the beast out. It looks like you have to lower the subframe to do this? I dont really want to take the transmission out in two parts, id like to get it out in one piece. Is there any advice on this? Looks like a big job ahead for me to do.

The best piece of advice I would recommend is what I did and that is to buy Josh's Clutch Replacement Video from SHONUT. I never did a clutch on a fwd car in my life....**** I didnt have much of any clutch replacement history. Josh's video in hand, I did the whole job myself in a day and a half...nice and slow. The only big part I used some friends muscles on was the removal and lowering of the transmission and subsequent reraising of it back into the car. very easy job all said and done. Josh lists all the tools and parts you will need and step by step instructions.

Josh if you are reading this, "You kick butt!"

yeah got the new clutch in with my buddies help. The only hard part was supporting everything. I think we ended up using 3 jack lifts and supporting the engine with some 2X4 across the body. The only hard part was understanding that you need to stick the clip in before you put the speedo cable in. :nut:
