You must be careful doing this because you only have one chance to do it.

Im guessing its the CF spoiler you got right.??

What I did was bought a box of crayons. I cut the tips off of the crayons, and threaded them into the thread holes.

Then I took some wet clay, and put pankakes of clay on the remote area where the bolts would go. With the crayons in place I put the wing exactlty where I wanted it to go, and pushed down.

Once I took the wing off I had 1/2" bolt sized holes on the trunklid. So I took a sharpie, and colored in the holes on the trunklid. Then I took the clay off, and drilled my holes.

Now the outside bolts are a PITA because you cant catch a bolt, so I took the biggest drill bit I had, and drilled a 2 inch diamater hole under the trunklid so I could fit the bolt. I got some 2" long 1/2' bolts with some washers, and bolted it down.

BTW...Did you get the weather stripping too? The weather stipping is a must because you dont want to get water in there, or having it chattering around at high speeds. Good luck. I can show you some pics if interested.

No my wing is a Ford part. I got it from a buddy who had it laying around his garrage.
Pictures would help

How did you know it was in a good spot since the bolts keep the spoiler from actually laying on the trunk. Im worried I'll be off a slight hair.

I have pics of my parts car plus wing, and I have pics of my CF wing on my nice car. I will post pics of both for you. With a stock plus wing you would have to do it a little different, but still the same idea.

Unless you measure the dimensions exactly. But marking the trunklid is the easiest way to go.

Whatever you use to leave your marks. Try to make them as short as possible. This way you can visualize the wing already installed. If you had someone to hold it for you that would help alot too.

The CF wing had threaded holes inside of it while the stock one is hollow.

Inside of the stock one there are plastic brackets inside of the wing that hold the wing down. Do you have those black plastic brackets??

If you notice underneath there is a hole cut in the lid for the outside bolt. You will have to carve it out to get the bolt in there. Unless you want to shimmy it in like I did on the CF wing. I am soom fixing that though.
