Hey everyone, I'm trying to mount a police style bumper guard to the front of my 95. Didn't these cars serve as police vehicles in some places? I can't find any specific brackets. If I've got to fab something up, how would you guys go about doing it?

That is a tough one, there is not allot there to mount anything to. The front bumper beam is plastic, although it does bolt to the steel shock absorbers that are mounted in the front frame rad support.
You would need a steel back plate that is bolted to the shock pads (where the plastic beam is) and build off that plate. Maybe instead of of working around the plastic beam, it could be replaced with a steel structure.

They did not make police guards for the Taurus and the SHO never saw police duty.

Check out the way they mount trailer hitches on the back. You'll have to do all the fab work, mount it to the bumper shocks but not to the body and then cut holes in the bumper cover as needed.
