i was driving yesterday and i hear this low tone noise when above 20mph, sounded like a low torque kinda noise, really don't know exactly but when i brake hard, i'll hear a clunk like something is hitting the hood. could this be motor or tranny mounts going? when i checked the intake, i didn't see a polish spot? don't know, anyone?

Try easeing up on the clutch while holding the brake and watch the engine to see if it rises up. I had a broken bolt in mine mount was OK.

i had a mechanic check it out, who's very familiar with SHO's, the noise is actually a wheel bearing that's going, so i might need a wheel bearing soon, anyone knows where to get some cheap, let me know please.
